H1 Synthetic Buffer Barrier Fluid for Mechanical Seal
HalaLube® Mech-Guard 5F is a high-performance, fully synthetic, Polyalphaolefin (PAO)-based barrier fluid engineered for the most demanding applications, including those with stringent food safety and purity requirements. Its advanced formulation ensures exceptional performance while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance.
HalaLube® Mech-Guard 5F is formulated to meet the requirements of 21 CFR 178.3570 for lubricants with incidental food contact. HalaLube® Mech-Guard 5F is H1 registered, Halal & Kosher certified. HalaLube® products are manufactured according to ISO 21469:2006 which supports producers’ HACCP and GMP programs. HalaLube® H1-lubricants do not contain ingredients of animal origin or genetically modified products.
APPLICATIONS: Halalube® Mech-Guard 5F is designed for use as a barrier fluid in dual mechanical seals within food processing plants or where a non-reactive high purity barrier fluid is required.

ü High cleanliness and Low Solid Formation: Its ultra- clean composition is crucial for extending the life of seals and the fluid itself. The product's very low solid formation property is vital for mechanical seal barrier fluid applications, preventing clogging and abrasive-particle wear of seal faces.

COMPATIBILITY: HalaLube® Mech-Guard 5F is compatible with mineral oil and commonly used seals, gaskets, hoses and paints. There are no special requirements when replacing other mineral or PAO-based lubricants. Flushing is recommended to remove remaining residues.
